Soft Enamel Lapel Pins - A die is cut to the image of your design. Your image is then stamped into a sheet of iron or copper. Copper is a softer metal and allows a sharper image at a slighly higher cost than iron. Cutting molds are made separately, and the pins are cut out to the outline of the design shape. Next, the pins are plated with a metal plating color of your choosing. Gold and silver are our most popular metal plating colors. But, other metal platings such as black nickel and bronze are often used. The raised metal surfaces are then highly polished to a lusterous finish. While the recessed areas are filled with enamel paints.
