Any photograph can be transformed to a lapel pin using the photo etched method. The metal has an image imposed from a photographic negative. It is then etched with acid, cleaned and then colored by hand one color at a time before baking at 450 deg f for 12-15 minutes. Lapel pins are then cut and the exposed metal sections are polished. An epoxy dome coating can be applied for extra protection.
